Year Description
2016 Ganser, D., Denmead, L. H., Clough, Y., Buchori, D. and Tscharntke, T. (2016), Local and landscape drivers of arthropod diversity and decomposition processes in oil palm leaf axils. Agricultural and Forest Entomology. doi: 10.1111/afe.12181

My research focuses on the investigation of biodiversity patterns and species communities in relation to their environment and their importance for ecosystem functioning. In particular, I focus on plant-pollinator interactions, crop and wild plant pollination services, and biological control.

The goal of my PhD project is to highlight the effectiveness of different types of sown flower stripes in providing foraging resources, nesting habitats and refugia for pollinators in the rural environment. Further, I am interested in the improvement of sown flower stripes for agronomy purpose such as weed depression or provision of floral resources.

The project is supervised by PD Dr. Eva Knop, Institute of Ecology and Evolution and Dr. Matthias Albrecht, Agroscope Zürich.

MSc and BSc theses available. Please contact me for details.
