I am an Ecologist with a strong interest in Evolutionary Biology that has accompanied me through my entire career, with research projects focusing mainly on butterflies and rodents on the organismal side, and tackling questions like community responses to management alterations as well as climate change and historical gene flow.

Current research topics:

(1) How do species perceive the permeability of a landscape?

(2) How does phenotypic plasticity evolve?

(3) What are the effects of nutrition on phenotypic plasticity, particularly hibernation and estivation behaviour?
